A read-only AI for your email: why it can't send or delete

Aidenly reads your Gmail but can't send, delete, or change anything. Google's own permission enforces it. Here's why we built it that way.

A read-only AI for your email: why it can't send or delete

When you let an AI into your email, the useful question isn't what it can do. It's what it can't.

What "read-only" means here

When you connect Gmail, Google shows you exactly which permission you're granting. Aidenly asks only for read access to your Gmail and Calendar. With that permission, Google itself will not let Aidenly send an email, delete one, or change anything in your mailbox. It isn't a promise we make; it's a limit Google enforces.

When Aidenly writes a draft reply, it hands the text to you. You copy it into Gmail, change what you want, and send it yourself. You stay the one who acts.

Aidenly's Google access is verified by Google and has passed an independent security assessment.

You can check it

Memories built from your Gmail link back to the original message, so you can confirm what Aidenly knows instead of taking its word for it. When it isn't sure, it says so. You can read your memory, delete any of it permanently, or delete your account and everything with it.

Never used to train AI models

Aidenly uses AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google through their business services, under terms that don't allow your data to be used to train their models. Aidenly doesn't train models on your email either.

Why we built it this way

We think AI should help you while you stay in control. Reading is enough to remember, explain, and remind. Acting on your behalf takes a different level of trust, and that should be earned, not assumed.
